Faces of Identity

This body of work explores the theme of identity through portraiture, drawing on personal photography and a realistic painting style. Although each piece was developed under a different project title during my A Level Fine Art studies, all are unified by a focus on how identity is expressed and interpreted. The series examines three distinct perspectives: self-identity through family history, individual identity in the context of the climate crisis, and constructed identity through character and performance. Each painting reflects a personal narrative, using the human face as a vehicle for meaning and emotional depth.
